Day 9: Chase!

We’re wrapping up CVPM today, and to show off our prowess, I set up a constant velocity chase problem and asked them to predict when the chase car would catch up with the other car. Everyone agreed that we could solve this by whiteboarding, instead, we decided to solve it by modifying a VPython program I gave them that modeled a single cart moving across the table.

Here we are testing our prediction in the last seconds of class, and we were thwarted by the batteries falling our of the chase car just before catching up.
