We had our first faculty meeting today, and this year, I decided to recruit a few colleagues to collaboratively take notes on the meeting. Our product was 30 pages of notes. I think this is an awesome way to keep a record of faculty meetings, and it was super easy for 3 faculty to collaboratively edit this google document, adding links to references mentioned in discussion. I also created a quick snippet in Text Expander to automatically add the time at various points in the meeting. To me, this is one small way of valuing the time we spend as a faculty.
